Interior Mini Septic Tank Advice
We are looking to remodel and slightly relocate our basement bathroom.
Its below street level, with a shower, toilet, sink and a washer/dryer. They drain into a mini septic tank (see photos) that’s about 30″ in diameter and a sub pump pushes the waste out to the sewer.
For our remodel, we won’t have space for a closet this size. So looking for alternative suggestions.
https://www.snydernet.com/products/water-wastewater-management/septic-tanks/small-septic-tanks
See this product that looks like it may help? Its “Pear shaped” so theoretically we could have a smaller closet with the top being smaller.
Any advice or recommendations for plumbers who are good with this stuff?

We always have issues with the pump assisted toilets; not saying they are bad, just giving feedback from our experience.
99% of homes use the Sewer Ejector Pit and Pump method.

I have a Saniflo toilet in the basement. It includes a macerator to chop up the waste, and an ejector pump to lift it to street level.
The only question is if this system could handle the water volume from the washing machine.

This won’t work. You’ll need to find a spot for an ejector pump and pipe into that. Good luck.

You can install a toilet bowl with a pump. There is no need for a septic tank.
