Installing a New Fence to Secure the Property Line?

There is a chain link fence in the backyard separating 2 properties.. I did a survey and it showed that the property line Is on the concrete that the fence is built into. My neighbor also did a survey on my property so he might think he entitled to more property – that the line is elsewhere in his favor. Im thinking of having a tall fence installed right up against his fence . This way he wont dare take down my fence. Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

we deal with this situations all the time, when installing privacy fences. best approach would be to have a discussion with your neighbors and get from them a written agreement if possible. you can’t install fence taller than 6′ its against the city code.
