National Grid came to my house yesterday and found a pipe leak , at the join., the pipe that feed my stove on the first floor. I phoned my plumber a master plumber and he asked between $ 2,000 and $ 2,800 just to repair the leak without even seeing the job

This is who I typically use: http://www.nycfireplaces.com/ Best of luck! Richard Garey, Manhatta Architecture, P.C. http://www.manhatta.net/

I put 2 of these in the house I’m currently selling. Really nice!

Have a look at these. They are definitely more high end but some of them would fit nicely in a brownstone fireplace if that’s where it’s going. I used one of their gas coal baskets and was very pleased. http://www.victorianfireplaceshop.com/gas-inserts.html
