I am looking for an affordable general contractor (I’m in East Flatbush – not money bags, here) who can install ikea cabinets, door fronts from a different company, and add some windows to the rear of the house. I want the kitchen ripped out to the studs as the person who lived here before me had a pest issue. Any recs for somebody good, not somebody perfect? I’m not looking for a 100k reno here. I love Brownstoner but the GC recs on here have been so out of my price range, it’s kind of crazy! Thanks!

I think the items came in a wrong order.
It is very easy to install Ikea cabinets yourself. I never heard of adding third party doors to the ikea cabinets. They might not fit or be cost effective as to have the Ikea doors. If you want to make it look different – look for a different door knobs.

Two replace windows, you can ask Windows-R-Us to sell and install. Maybe you only need to replace the window panes and not the frames.

Finally gutting kitchen is two orders of magnitude more difficult then just installing cabinets.
It might come with new floor, ceiling, new counters, new electrical and new plumbing.

Bobjohn: There are companies that specialize in making new fronts for IKEA cabinets. Take a look at semi-handmade, among others. Pretty handsome!
