carlos, this is how to make this board work for you. come on here and answer questions about how to do what you do in exacting detail for the readers (tell them everything). i know, it sounds counter intuitive (“they will do the work themselves and not call me”). this is how it works: some guy who wants to rebuild ONE window might attempt to do it himself. Helping someone like that is no loss for people like us (i am also a restoration contractor; I know you do not want to do one window) and we should be happy when we help someone like that (they might really not have the financial means or they at least have more time than money). What will happen is people who have the money to hire contractors for high end work most often do not want to attempt to rebuild a door or window themselves and they will read what you write. These people have built their careers hiring other experts. they listen to people talk about things they themselves know nothing about and they know that if someone can go into great detail about something they supposedly do everyday, that they are who they say they are (this is how they sniff out BS). half way through reading what you write, they will pick up the phone and call.

See answering questions on here as an opportunity for you and your company and do not worry about the jobs you do not get because of it. focus on the ones you will get.
