Historic art tile

I am working on a research project of Art tile in Brooklyn. There are three areas of focus… 1) Fireplace Tile Sets, Bathroom, Vestibule.

Starting with a photo essay, will hopefully develop into a book and resource guide to identification, valuation, and historical notes on manufacturing style.

If you have an interesting tile and your house fits into a time period between 1860 – 1920, I would be interested to see a posting.
