Hiring Local Lads to Shovel the Snow

My husband and I own a row house in Brooklyn but my husband may be away most of the 2016-2017 winter months. I want to hire two neighborhood teenage brothers whom we have known since they were quite young to shovel our snow this winter.

I am sure that the brothers and their parents will insist that they help us for free but that is not what I want.

What is a good wage to pay them for their efforts?

it depends on how much snow but i’d say $15-20 each for an average snowfall.
