Help. In DOB what does is meet when a job status has been "signed off"?

Is there a certain order of approvals? i.e. Permit issued then the next step is for the job to be “signed off”??

Signed off is generally a good thing. It means the DOB application was approved, permitted, work performed, inspected (potentially self certified instead) and closed out. The job is done and cannot be reopened.
