Heating Oil / Boiler Service recommendations?

Do not use oil supplier. Proper maintenance and set up will cut your fuel bills. Conflict of interests for oil company. When service is included in oil price, there is no incentive for oil company to hire top mechanics, at top dollars. Other than that use common sense to choose service company.

Does anyone have a heating oil and boiler service company that they like? Researching this online it seems to be such a mixed bag in terms of reputation, with lots of the smaller shops having been absorbed by folks like Petro and Harts. Would love to hear who you’ve had a good experience with!

I use Home Serve annual contract which was recommended by my bldg inspector and have not regretted it.

highly recommend using whoever you select for oil supply… a third party vendor will do nothing but rack up charges
