I’m interested in adding pavers to my gardens with a sand base and fill as opposed to mortar and cement. I want to do this for the drainage benefits for the mature trees on my property. Who should I be talking to? It seems like everyone wants to do cement.

Colonial, it seems that in brooklyn there are fewer contractors for this sort of work and more over here in queens. I am not sure if many of these here go there because i always see the trucks over here. That said, we had concrete work being done here and a neighbor hired them to do the brick work. The company was irish mist. The people who had the brick work done were happy.
Something about this, we laid pavers in part of our yard to help with drainage. It’s not so much the pavers but the sand and gravel that go down in one spot about 8′ that help with the drainage. Some sort of french drain i suppose.

Maybe call glenwood supply house and get a name from them. Glenwood sells pavers.
