Floor Refinisher

I recommend **Carlos Salazar** – he’s refinished all my antique oak floors at my brownstone.  He’s one of the only **wood floor refinisher** out there that actually discloses the product (brand) of finish he will use on your floor – which is a high quality “green” product called BONA TRAFFIC .   You can get a hold of him here: http://www.jcmartinrenovation.com/wood-floor-refinishing/

I am sure others had good expereinces with Jose — and I was a huge fan. But once he got paid, everything changed. His guys kinked the hose to the dishwasher and when it flooded a couple days later and the floor warped, then denied they did anything. Meanwhile his guys sanded under the d/w at my explicit request and had to move it for access. It worked perfectly fine before they did anything to the floor. Jose promised to come back — over and over again — and simply never showed. He was great until he got the check, then forgets about you. I really hate to write bad reviews of people (and love to write good ones — I initially wrote a glowing review of Jose, then deleted it), but there is another side to Jose. I really hope this was an isolated experience….

Jose Zambrano is great. He’s been recommended here by many and I used him to finish 4 floors. He was fast, stuck to his pricing even with some changes along the way and the results are excellent.
