Expected cost for window replacement in Landmark district

Hello @mmong1; Please ask both companies about the exterior paint warranty for the manufacturers. These all wood windows will need a certain amount of maintenance because of the weather exposure. We work with a company called Norwood which is the only company in the industry to offer a 15-year warranty on the paint finish. Hi all. I am looking to replace 3 of my windows in a landmark district.
Was wondering if you know what is the average cost per window that I should be expecting, bay ridge is quoting up to 2.5k per window and Windows we are 3-4k noting that u can only put wooden windows in as frames seem compromised.
Also any way I can find an architectural cabinet who can do the drawing for me or is it just worth paying the window company to handle the paperwork?

Reach out to the LPC and they will be delighted to help you. Window replacement is a routine matter handled on the staff level. They can explain what is required, funding options, and provide a list of vendors who are capable of doing Landmarks work. Cost depends on size and type of window as well as number. Anderson, Pella, and Marvin may have Landmarks compliant options, and glaziers, carpenters, and window restorers can also make custom windows. Also you might want to speak to a window restorer first to be certain replacement is the best option.
