Does anyone have any experience with an asbestos removal company that does air

monitoring and removal at a good cost? Recently there was a fire in my 1910 built building. The insurance company sent in a demo crew that did not test before they began their work: now I have a positive result in dust and actual plaster samples on all 3 floors. If you have had this experience, can you enlighten me on your process?? Needless to say, quite stressed out by the fire and now this, it’s overload. I need a company FAST. Please forward your recommendations and thank you.

I used American Environmental and Construction Corp to remove asbestos in my townhouse. They had an air monitoring company they always work with. They were all very professional and reliable. I got three quotes and theirs was the cheapest by a way.

Pio (amerceninfo@gmail.com) handled the paperwork and his brother Victor was my main contact and carried out the work.

I have had success with ALC Environmental and GAC Environmental. Please note that air monitoring during removal has to be done by an independent contractor, not the removal contractor.

I already have an adjuster. He is bulking on doing all of this, put the entire thing off, oversaw the demo crew and let them work when they should have done a test before the demo!! Now I have a city violation filed against me by ground floor tenant. I need to find a removal company on my own, clearly.

Go back to your insurance company they should be responsible. If they are not responsive hire a public adjuster. They will get involved and make things move along for a percentage of the claim.
