Daladair Cabinet Face Router Bit
Yes… I agree. The solutions I’ve seen are all EXPENSIVE to buy, and not be exactly what I want.
I also had come to the same conclusion you suggest…. But you guys seem like you may have other solutions.
It’s a SIMPLE bead.. but when you look into it… it ain’t so simple.
THANKS FOR SUGGESTION!

I need to put a 5/8 inch width bead on the FACE of a cabinet door 1/2 inch from the edge around the complete cabinet door face.
I can’t find an router bit or table saw shaper which will produce what I need with a single pass.
Seems too simple… but I’ve been looking for a single pass solution for literally years.
Wainscoting bits are close— but would require two pieces glued together.
“Magic Molder” has a table saw shaper… but it’s over $300 for plugs and rotar and is only a quarter inch bead.
Any experts out there who see a less expensive solution?
Google “Daladair Cabinet Door” to see example.

Orbit bits in california. Also a guy in nj but i can’t recall his name. And i have a very old delta shaper set for the router that makes beads. And a craftsman molder head for the table saw might do it.

Don’t try that the way you want to. Every mistake will be extremely expensive. Make the center portion and bead trim seperate and the cut the bead like you would any other trim and glue it around the outside of the square.
