Contractor ruined my floors--help please!

You are smart to fix that now. I had something similar happen to me long ago and blew it off. Now I notice that blemish all the time. Note to self , always wait until the job is completely finished before final payment. My floor looked fine until the clear polly and showed the mistake.

Pre-shutdown I had my rental apartments renovated. A contractor (highly recommended and quite expensive) sanded oak floors and left them covered in “cup” marks where the sander had not been held straight. I would appreciate any recommendations for someone to re-finish them at a reasonable price. The original contractor refuses to fix them and unfortunately I paid him for the job. Irek 718-840-9889 Never had a problem with this guy. I did have a similar situation though with another guy. The guy himself was good, problem was he hired a kid with no experience and handed him a sander.
