My neighbors are extending their home along the lot line and will need to use a contiguous strip of my property to complete construction. What are the necessary issues to be included in the agreement ?
Length of time, assurance that property will be restored to preconstruction state, insurance carried by contractor, but do I need additional if someone is hurt on my property ? Escrow for possible damage ?
I would appreciate any advice.

Firstly get a lawyer to represent you in securing the agreement. Have the neighbors pay for them (that’s standard). Also, are they building the extension on a slab, or are they digging down for a foundation wall? If they are excavating, you should get a consult from an engineer (they should pay for that too).
