I am renovating a ground floor studio apartment which we have always thought was suitable for one person. A friend might be interested, but only with a roommate. Water usage would go up. Toilet, shower, bathtub and faucets in the bathroom & kitchen. No dishwasher. I think we need to increase the rent we would charge, but I don’t know by how much. I’d appreciate knowing what you think.

Maybe $25 a month. But can’t you figure this out yourself by looking at past bills?

super unclear with no neighborhood, sq footage or other details and amenities. call a broker of look online. charge rent based on market rates. water usage is what it is, its part of the deal. install low flow fixtures if you are that desperate.
