Buying a home in auction

If it is being sold as an occupied building, you can be sure of one thing. Major problem tenants! Not for the novice.
Look at the HPD website see what & when & from which apartments the complaints are coming from. HPD does sometimes have tenant status info listed.

Hey, Is there anyway to find out if a home I am thinking about bidding on has section 8/rent control tenants (that I will not be able to evict) in them?

Start with the BIS website. But frankly, if you have to ask a question like this, you’re likely in for a heap of pain in pursuing anything of this sort. Respectfully!
