Asking for a friend: We renewed our homeowners’ policy with the Brownstone Agency. our agency for the past 45 years. We recently (June) sent in our renewal checks and they have not been cashed. We have e-mailed and called the company but have received no response. Do you know what might be going on. Is the agency being sold? Is the agency being audited? Before I call the State I’d like to see if there is a reasonable explanation.

I renewed with them in early summer as well without problems. Call your agent I guess.
My agent then was working remote but always returned my calls

Thanks. I don’t know the details but could it be that my friend’s agent went under whereas yours didn’t?
