Broownstone w/3 units. How to place the door sweep on doors entry to unit

Our wood entry doors have sweeps built into the bottom that rise and lower when the door is opened and closed.

Are they metal doors? Is that why you are asking? I can talk all day long about installing door hardware, but most sweeps are self explanatory so i need some more info to understand the chalenges. If you tell me that you have never used a drill, that is acceptable.
