Boiler replacement in single family home?

I need to replace the ancient natural gas boiler in my single family home. Any recommendations for contractors, and ballpark # on the price range? Also how long does it take them to get permits to do the work? And how long does it take to do the job?

Also, Starting 2020 plumbing contractor must have additional certification to work on gas lines in the house. Even more. Starting January 1, 2019 in order to work on gas meter piping, every person in the company must pocess gas operator certification issued by DOT

Price is all over the lot. Don’t cheap out. Talk to the installers about the differences and if they don’t offer you a wide range of options and explain the differences, find another.
