Best place to get baseboard?

Hi, redoing baseboard in my house in Ridgewood, Queens. What’s the best place to get baseboard trim? Looking for good options and good prices. Bonus points if it’s close to my neck of the woods. I don’t want to get them at Home Depot. Thanks!

I am not sure if i should post the price on here. I can tell you a couple more things: it is a good bit less than the amt you spent on the bozos; you will get a written report with photos that you can refer to over and over again.

So, there is something many homeowners and some coop boards do not understand; the value of training and preventive maintenance and the value of a trained professional and how spending a few hundred dollars on the same will actually save them money.

Bring me over there and i will inspect that roof with you, tell you what i know, give you the possible water entry points, use thermal imaging to narrow the source of the leaks down, and coach you on repairing this yourself.

I am a home inspector now because a customer had a major leak in her roof and had had a roofer (who had put the roof on) look at it at least two times to no avail. i walked out of her house and from the ground looked at the roof and said “the leak is right there”. I was correct.

A little knowledge will free you from being hostage to people who call themselves “roofers” but have less training than i have.

Well, I don’t want to go off-topic.
But I’m not joking about the roofers. I got scammed. I’m only out $800 which could be way worse, but I got conned into thinking I was getting a 2yr guarantee on some patches they did. I mean, they put it in the contract. But they are not returning my calls. They keep telling me they’ll come out and then never show up. I feel completely taken advantage of. Meanwhile I still have water coming in. And I paid $800 basically for 20 minutes of roof cement shmearing and no net gain on my end. I did manage to reach the owner of the company today but he just yelled at me and called me names for 15 minutes. I wish I was making this up.

From Ridgewood & Greenpoint areas to Dykes in Gowanus ( 9 mi ) and to US Lumber in Lynnbrook (13 mi ). Both suppliers offer exchanges, returns, easy parking., and flat rate deliveries.

Parking is better at dykes because they have a lot across the street. There is always parking. At lenoble, parking can be sketchy.

Also, there is adriatic lumber and they stock the dykes catalog. Ridgewood is not too far from adriatic.

We bought a bunch of tall baseboard at Dyke’s in Gowanus this summer (not in Ridgewood, but ample space to pull up a car, or they do delivery for a flat fee). It wasn’t easy to find someone to install, so my husband installed it, coped corners and all, around wavy plaster — a process but hopefully you have square corners 🙂
