Hi, I have a shared fence with the neighboring apt. building which includes barbed wire that hangs over my property. I would like to ask them to remove it. If its on your side of the fence, and the fence is actually on the property line, you can ask him to remove it or take it down yourself. Just like an overhanging tree. But the photo seems to show the fence is set back on their side of the line (the apartment bkdg. side ?) and the hanger and barbed wire extend just partially over the property line.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I suppose you’re right that the fence is set back on their side. So you’re saying the overhang into my “air space” so to speak doesn’t matter because the fence is installed their property line? Wouldn’t that still fall into the same category of a tree that growing in their yard with a overhanging branch into mine?
