Bank wants a safety rail for Refi

No you do not need an iron worker for a “temporary” guard rail, just a carpentry 2 x 4 rail will probably suffice. Just enough so that if someone does open the door to nowhere, they do not fall out!

We have an unfinished porch (basically a door opening out onto the roof of the extension) of our brownstone. Citibank wants us to put a railing there in order to proceed with a refinance. it is most prob temporary until we install a proper porch…. Any recommends? is this an Ironworker? thanks for any info or advice fellow Brownstoners…..
