Appliance Repair Company?

Glad you got it fixed! We recently had similar issues with our local fridge and stove repair service we have been using for over a decade. After weeks of back and forth and the oven not operable they finally referred us to another repair outfit! I finally concluded the owner is getting on in years and like so many they are short staffed.

Does anyone know of a good appliance repair company (for a dishwasher)? My go-to company can’t come for two weeks, and PULS, a startup that was recommended, keeps re-scheduling.

I always use Global Solutions Appliance repair https://gsappliancerepairnyc.com/ they’re not the cheapest and they’re shomer shabbos so no service on Saturdays but overall they have never ghosted me, gotten unnecessary parts or anything like that.

I agree. I got the referral to Superior from a similar post on my neighborhood FB page.
My usual go to place is Len’s Appliance which is also good, nur they were booked up for a couple of weeks. Plus rescheduled three times and seems useless.

With dishwashers we’ve often found, unfortunately, the cost of a repairman showing up and hourly labor plus the potential requirement to order a part and show up again approaches or equals the cost of a new dishwasher. I hate to throw out a repairable device but dropping hundreds to fix a device starts to not make sense. glad you found a good service.

It was a fairly old machine, but an expensive brand—Bosch—and a replacement would be >$1,000. The $125 service call was well worth it.
