We replaced the old hinges on our apartment’s front door (to the building’s hall) with 6 inch Everbilt spring loaded hinges. This worked well for a few months, but the door is now sagging in the frame and difficult to close. The screws connecting the door to the hinge and the hinge to the frame all seem tight–the issue seems to be within the hinge case. The work was done by a contractor, so I’m hesitant to call a handyman without express expertise in door issues, but locksmiths also don’t seem to be asking the right questions. Who would be best suited to help us with this?

He did the custom trim and custom balustrades from scratch that we needed in the hallway. I wouldn’t even be able to pick the new from the old in the sections he replaced etc.
