Amendments to Offering Plan

You can simply add the amendment to your by-laws and, if you want to be completely transparent about it, add a note next to the new item that says something like: “This amendment was passed on X date.” Be sure to send the new bylaws to all current owners and have them filed with your managing agent. No sure you need an attorney to do this.

Anyone have experience in how to capture amendments to the offering plan? I’m part of a co-op and we’re trying to update some of the by-laws / house rules. The by-laws speak to the process by which you can do an amendment, but then what about the actual change to the document itself? Can it simply be edited? Does it need to have an amendment attached to the end of it?

Hire a lawyer that specializes in Co-Op plans. If the company that originally filed for the original plan is still around, so much the better.
