ACRIS mortgage document not correct

I just refinanced and the mortgage document on ACRIS has my house tagged as a 1-family when it’s really a 2-family. Is it worth the trouble in getting this corrected?

they go off the DOF records when preparing mortgage recording documents. it is possible that your house is taxed as a 1 family, but is legally a 2 family. don’t sweat it.

by mortgage document you mean the mortgage contract you signed with the mortgage-broker or ‘bank’?
That is what’s recorded on Acris.
Whatever it is – if you like your mortgage you don’t need to change anything.
