ABB vs Aiphone Video Intercom systems?

We are considering a new intercom system for a small multifamily building. Any advice or experience to share on either the Aiphone or ABB system. We like that the ABB system can be wired to buzz both your phone as well as the apartment monitor which the AIphone does not offer. However, we hear Aiphone is the standard go-to unit for lots of small buildings.

Hi BurntToast,
We installed an ABB video system here at 135 Henry St.
Would get the same system again, have had no problems at all in the last 18-24 months?

The guys at Lock and Tech Brooklyn installed it….would highly recommend them even if you go aiphone-eg used dustbusters when drilling holes etc – good guys.

Only feedback is spend the extra money to get the bigger screens on internal stations-we paid for our 2 in our apartment (others in the building went smaller size) noticeable difference in what you can see etc,

I’ve used them all and Aiphone is the most user friendly, reliable and reasonably priced.
