Looking for Contractor to build staircase between two floors

We have a  three story frame house. Presently used as a two family (duplex on top two + apartment on bottom floor). We are looking to turn the building back into a one-family. Looking for someone who can cut an internal staricase between the first and second floors. Any recommendations appreciated.

Hey,  I work with Scott at Functional Design and Construction on my projects. He just did a project like this for me on a client’s home. Him and his team are fantastic and with great prices.    Scott at Functional Design and Construction – 646.842.6486.   Abby.

dobbs, the horse usually stays in front of the cart, not the other way around 🙂 what you are trying to achieve requires, plans, engineering, and most probably a change of your certificate of Occupancy at the Department of Buildings. Get these things staright first (unless you’ve already done it, in which case I am retracting my comment), then your architect and engineer will be your best friends and advisors in the process of selecting a contractor. I recently did a project like this-on the UWS, very satisfied with the contractor. His name is Akmal: contact@primehomerenovations.com
