River Rock / Peebles

Does anyone know a supplier in Brooklyn / NYC that can deliver about 350-400 sqft of white river peebles / rocks to put around the edges of my garden? I’m not really trying to take home 80 40lbs bags from the Home Depot. Suggestions appreciated. thanks. — j

Chelsea Garden Center in Red Hook will special order river rocks but I don’t know if they can source them in white.

When you buy from Home Depot, instead of picking their delivery service, hire a man with a van and a crew (they’re usually right in the parking lot outside the exit doors.) Most delivery services do curbside only, but a private crew will bring all 80 bags to your backyard, fanned around the edges, so all you have to do is open the bags and rake. You’re probably looking at $200 instead of $19.95, but it’s worth your back.
