Need Someone Who can do Proper Re-hanging of Pocket Doors

Anyone have recommendation for a professionals who can rehang an old heavy set of oak pocket doors? Doors are in great shape but track needs some help. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thx!!

If the track is in good shape, then so are you because repairing or replacing track means opening up the wall.  The rollers can be bought at various places but you need to bring along one thats existing so that a new roller will match the existing track.  Its not difficult to do but if you’d like some help with it, I’d be happy to help. These doors are hung from the top, which is what I would prefer to maintain the original parquet floors. Thx

OP fails to say whether they are indeed hanging the doors, or re-doing the rolling mechanism bernie talks about. AFAIK, most old pocket doors originally rolled on tracks in the floor. When I replaced the pocket doors in my house, I hung them using Johnson pocket door hardware: super quiet and smooth, and you don’t have to worry about irregularities in the floor (though you do have to open up a bit of one wall to install it.) Either way, pretty easy – if OP doesn’t want to do it, most handyman-types could.

I don’t have any recommendations for someone to rehang the doors.  However, 25 or so years ago I was able to successfully have re-installed 2 sets of pocket doors in my house.  For the first set of doors, I was able to buy some new “T-track” at a high end hardware store (Deco Ware was the store that I used back then).  For the second set, I was able to buy completely new wheels and track which were installed on the old doors.
