looking for topsoil for my new backyard garden

Is there anywhere that sells loose topsoil or in large quantities for a good price?

Wouldn’t take mike69’s soil if you are looking to plant edibles – probably has too much lead & mercury.  If you are planting ornamentals/flowers etc, just mix that with some peat & manure and that’s not a bad option.

That would be me. It’s probably a clay type soil, not sure how well that would be for growing plants but if you want I’ve got a bunch of it dug from my backyard.
