Have you seen an orange tabby? (Bed-Stuy)

Mello disappeared from the backyards on Halsey, btw Bedford and Nostrand Aves.  He is a 7-year old ginger tabby with a bruised face and a bit of an inflammation on his tail owing to an allergic condition. He knows the backyards well but may be trapped in a basement, or have wandered onto a construction site.  He has a loud voice and can turn into a purring butterball, if held.  He is very much loved, and has an adoring housemates.  I would be grateful if you would keep a lookout for him and please send me any sightings — please don’t worry if they are false leads!!  Thank you!

Mello was found!  Thanks to a wonderful neighbour on the block who feeds some ferals, he was found in a parking lot — scared and skittish around the other cats but otherwise, none the worse for wear.  Thanks very much to those of you who responded with sightings and kept an eye out for him.

Has he been gone long?  I may have seen him on Saturday while walking the dogs near Macon and Stuyvesant — there was an unusually friendly orange cat that approached us.
