Cedar fence

We’re in the planning phases for a new backyard fence. We want to install a cedar fence and wanted to know what contractors people on here have used or lumber yards that can supply the wood. Also from what I have read cedar doesn’t need to be treated but if I wanted to maintain its warm look I would need to seal it, what have people done in regards to sealing?

i will come on here and say it again as the last person I said this to thanked me: get your cedar from Riverhead Lumber in Mineola. it was a good bit less than Dykes. Riverhead will deliver to the city. You can drive there from Brooklyn on the BQE/LIE in about 40 mins no traffic. Steve

Use Penofin(Blue label). Built a cedar fence in our backyard last summer. It looks exactly the same as it did the day I finished.
