best time of year to do tree work

What’s the best time of year to bring an arborist in to inspect a very, very large tree? And the best time of year to have it pruned?

Your arborist will tell you. I had one come in the late summer and he wouldn’t touch it until Late fall. Unless you are trying to get rid of the tree then let er rip.
