Backyard/Garden Lighting
Hi, We are in the process of re-doing our back yard, approx 17×40\. Most of the area will be paved, with a raised planter, approx 17×5, in the far end away from the house. I am trying to figure out a lighting plan. There will be two wall lights on the back of the house, but I don’t know what to do w/the rest of the space. Any suggestions? Budget is a concern 🙂 Thanks

I’m in the process of doing mine… I ordered some well lights from Volt (very resonable) and hung some goosenecks over my back deck from barn Light electric. I have an instagram account: @joshualynne or look at #pacificstreetgarden for images. Cheers. — j

The best solution I found was the low voltage downlights. I bought mine at Home Depot. They cast a glow on the garden but not shining in your eyes. Be careful of the wall lights, you want to avoid the search light effect that many of my neighbors seem to favor.
