Clawfoot tub - $100 OBO

Doesn’t appear to have any rust in the water-holding part. That’s very good. If that’s the case, I’d cover up the rusty hole on the rim with white nail polish, myself, rather than refinish the whole thing, since the original enamel is more durable than the paint. You could try calling some salvage places, who might haul it away for free. Demolition Depot, Olde Good Things, Build It Green, etc.

We need to remove the cast iron clawfoot tub from the second floor bathroom of our 1910 building in Ridgewood, Queens. It’s not in great shape but could be restored to its original beauty. Contractor wants to destroy it and take it out in pieces, but we would love for someone to come get it so it can find a new life in someone else’s home.

Photo with dimensions attached. It’s 60″ (l) x 29″ (w) x 22.5″ (h). Will need to remove tiling around it to see condition of the entire thing but it does appear to have the feet–though they are rusty.
