I would suggest you to use pebbles stair floor or either you can have the wooden finishing over the stair floor area which will stay for longer period and easy to clean without any foul smell.

I recently bought some of the best stone slabs from [Omicron Granite](http://www.omicrongranite.net “Omicron Granite”) as these include quartz, marble, caesarstone and some more. These are wonderful slabs and are available in different patterns and colors at Omicron.

Finally i found one its eskandari stones. They provide granite, quartzite, marble, limestone, onyx and travertine, in slabs and tiles, coming from many countries around the world.
