searching quarter sawn flooring

I am in need to purchase quarter sawn flooring to match my original floor due to construction. Any information is much appreciated.

Hi, My name is Tomasz from Eko Flooring & Woodwork. I supply Rift and Quarter sawn, Rift only or Quartered only for my jobs. Different lengths and widths. I can get it from custom 2″ wide to 12 ” wide. usually it comes in 3/4″ thickness but I can get different thickness as well. Wood flooring comes in different lengths, it depends who is manufacturing. One manufacturers make it random length 1-6 feet, some make longer lengths 1-10 feet, and some make long lengths 4-10, 4-12,. The longer the average length the more expensive wood. Please take a look at pictures: Rift sawn wood has straight grain and quartersawn wood has straight grain but also “flakes” or “flames”. It is important to check if wood you have is rift only, quarter only or rift and quarter. Because it looks totally different especially when you stain . Rift sawn floor when stain is much darker in color, richer. wheras quartersawn floor with flames is lighter in color where flames are. I can get also engineered material in white or red oak rift/quarter sawn. I can get reclaimed oak too make to size you want : width and length. Reclaimed wood is also oak: red or white , and it is made from old lumber from old manufacturing facilities or barns, etc. Let me know if you have any other questions. Is this strip flooring or t&g? New York floor supply on 123 St in the city should have both. Adriatic wood products in eny can sell and dress wood for you but they will charge you for wood of the full thickness that it began as plus dressing it down to 5/16 if you are using strip flooring. Steve

I’m not aware of any place that stocks it but you could ask a woodworker to cut some for you. I used Slu2go@gmail.com to do it but it was part of a larger job.
