Refinished parquet coming up--normal?

Hi, all, Our floors were refinished 5 months ago–two coats of regular poly and then one matte–and I noticed about a month later that some strips were no longer flush with their brethren. I initially assumed that was due to seasonal changes in humidity, etc, and would be limited, but now the numbers are increasing. It seems a lot to me, so soon, but wanted check in here before contacting the company: are my expectations just off?

I don’t think enough prep work was done in your case. The strips need to be nailed down. A thicker clear coat will help too. Call your flooring guy back.
