need a few pieces of oak strip flooring

does anyone know where to get a few pieces of 1900-era oak strip flooring (the kind that is nailed crosswise over pine subfloor? I have a board that warped from an a/c leak. This stuff is quite thin, 1/4-in by 2-in. I actually only need a piece about 30-in long. Does Eddie on Grand/Greene carry that sort of thing?

Are you still looking for this? I’m replacing the border and 12×12 finger block parquet (6* 2×12) in my dining room. I have one last wall’s border and 10 or so parquet blocks that I’ve not ripped up yet. I also have a trash bag or two of the removed 2×6 red oak strips, tho not sure how many are usable, as I was not gentle prying them up.

you should use planks from old floor so the wood color will match yours. I keep such planks just in case and can spare one. Drop me a line. BTW, I had a professional floor guy do the repairs. I think it would be hard to do it yourself. He used dremel tool to get the old plank out. then he fould planks from the old floor and shaved them to the thickness of my floor before installing.
