Looking for Opinions on Rejuvenate for Floors

Went to Amazon to check on reviews for Rejuvenate and have never seen such a split in opinion. Almost half the reviews were 5 stars and the other half 1 star. Very few in between. Five star reviewers raved about the look of the floors after being treated. OTOH, an equally large sample claimed the product doesn’t work and is a nightmare to clean up. Some of the 5 star reviews looked planted (i.e. it’s the only product the reviewer has ever reviewed) but many felt real. I figure there are no shills here…. Thanks.

I used it and it worked great. Then we moved out. Landlady seemed happy, we got our deposit back. (Does this sound like a plant? I’m a long-time poster, this was in Bushwick.) Still have the stuff and now that you mention it, we have a tiny scratch or two — I should use it again. I had a hard time tracking it down, finally found it at Bed Bath and Beyond in Queens.

I’ve used Rejuvinate (based on a neighbor’s recommendation) since just before the last time my house was last on the PLG house tour in 2006\. It works very well for us. I wonder if those who don’t like it tried to apply the stuff over a waxed floor. Our electric waxer broke 25 years ago and our floors have been washed numerous times (with Murphey’s Soap) in between the last waxing and the first use of Rejuvinate, so all traces of wax must have been gone.   I don’t think you’d want (or need) to use Rejuvinate very often. We’ve used it twice on our parlor floor floor (redundant?) and the second time was only necessary because removing the plaster dust from a top floor skim coating left the floor looking very dull.   The only thing I dislike about Rejuvinate is their tacky “AS SEEN ON TV” packaging and website.
