Installation is so expensive. Why can?t I just do it myself?

I?ve seen different finish sheens on wood floors; some are shiny and some are not. Which one is better?

Please use satin. Those high-gloss floors in the flip-renos always look like a bowling alley.

It’s really just a matter of taste. There are 3 basic styles – shiny/glossy, satin & matte. It’s the quality of the product that counts wrt how well it wears.
