Bamboo Flooring

I posted recently asking for recommendations for bamboo flooring. I want to expand on that ask for feedback on bamboo flooring in general. Is it practical and durable? Good value?

We are renovating our partially below grade basement- of course some risk for water, but we will have a drain outside the front and back door. I assume that bamboo holds up a little better than wood if it gets a little moist.

Yes wood floor, not a good idea. with bamboo you can glue it down, nail it, or float it too, but you can stop water from getting to it. if water gets to it from below, you will never know until its too late. Good Luck.

Wood floors in basement a very bad idea, Even engineered wood can absorb water and warp. Use something else.

Stayed at friend’s house with bamboo stairs, flooring. Very slippery. Not at all good if water gets on it.
