Any recommendations for cheap auto insurance in Brooklyn?

I’m relocating to Williamsburg after living on the west coast for a few years. Any suggestions as to who to use? Would prefer a local company. Thanks

i’ve found that geico has the best rates. insurance ins’t the same as vegetables. i don’t understand why you’re looking for a “local” insurance company. i see no incentive with choosing a small shop versus a national company with a good track record and ratings to back it up. if you’re on some “local” kick, find a local broker who will shop around for a competitive rate.

so far, the best “local” company i found for rates was New York Motor Insurance – [http://www.newyorkmotorinsurance.com](http://www.newyorkmotorinsurance.com) I put local in quotation marks cause they are actually located in SOHO, but they still seem to give me the best rates for my Brookyln address

If you parents or grandparents were Vets you can get singed up with USAA. They are by far the cheapest and have great customer service. My father was in Vietnam and I convinced him to join USAA and thus I got to join as well.
