Rear metal oriel window?

I have a 2 story oriel window on the back of my bedstuy brownstone (maybe made of tin??). It’s currently covered in vinyl siding & some rigid insulation. I’m looking to remove the siding from the back of the building and repoint as needed. I worry about this window though – I think these oriel windows were constructed with an eye on limiting weight rather than structural strength (or insulation).. Have folks dealt with these? I’d love any insights on what to think about, options for restoration/renovation. or suggestions for who to contact to work on it. Thank you! I haven’t added any insulation in the walls of my sheet metal bay for fear of condensation problems. We installed rigid foam insulation under the overhang, covered by plywood sheathing. That helped a little, but it’s still cold.

Thank you. If anyone has contact info for exterior metal repair I’d appreciate it. A neighbor decided theirs was unsalvageable and replaced the metal with plywood, I think to add insulation. Bob, have you added any insulation behind the metal, or felt the need to?

If it’s deteriorated, you need a company that specializes in exterior metal repair such as these types of windows and cornices. I vaguely recall hearing about such specialists in Brooklyn but cannot recall the details. Someone on here may know.

Mine is just one story. All it’s needed has been some silicone caulking and regular painting.
