Pave under stoop

We have had some problems with rats burrowing in the area under our stoop (dirt floor). We’re looking to pave the area to more permanently address the problem. Do others have experience with similar projects and have recommendations for contractors? We’ve been told that perhaps a mason is the right person to do the work. Thanks!

My under-stoop area was tiled with ugly interior tiles. Carlos removed them, stuccoed the walls and paved the ground with exterior pavers. He has plenty of experience with concrete if that’s what you want and he is a waterproofing expert. He can be reached at 917-887-4205.

I agree that a mason is probably the right specialty, but have no suggestions about someone to do the work. The space under my stoop is paved so I’ve never needed to have a job like that done.
