Can I borrow a ladder?
Oh then yes, this would probably be too short to reach up to the 14-15 foot mark, safely anyway. I stand about 3 steps from the top to work on the 12′ ceilings and do fine, but you would need to be on the top step to get to your height and I wouldn’t do that, especially with a cement sidewalk below me.

I’m in need of someone with a tall 12 foot (or higher) “A”-shape ladder to help bring down a sign that is hanging above my storefront. It isnt heavy but it is 12′ high off the ground. I just need to bring it down. A cherry picker would be another option if you have one, but I can imagine that would be a lot more expensive for me to borrow from you. Please let me know how much it would cost to rent just your ladder for a few minutes… It is literally an up the ladder/down the ladder job. I’m not looking for anything else at them moment. But eventually I will need to bring the sign back up on a later date. I’m located in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Thanks.

We have a 9 foot A-frame ladder that we use to work on our 12′ ceilings with no problem. I assume that unless you are less than 4′ tall you would be able to reach up to 12′ with it unless the bolts holding the sign are up higher than 12′. I am also in Williamsburg and you could borrow it for free if you thought it would work.

I’m 6’2″ the bottom of the sign is about 12′ above the ground. The top, which is where it is attached (by, i believe, hook and eyelet) is maybe 2-3 feet above that. I think I might have to call in an acrobat for this…
