Receive $75 plus free energy audit by participating in academic energy efficiency study

I am working with the Pratt Center for Community Development, the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA) and Bright Power, Inc. to identify ways to make it easier for homeowners to save energy and money at the same time as improving health and comfort.
If you own a 2-family, gas heated, brick or brownstone building, you may be eligible to receive $75 as a participation incentive, a free energy audit and a chance to receive a package of energy saving measures (measures may include insulation, air sealing, appliance upgrades, etc.).  Participating homeowners must provide the previous 12 months of energy usage data, and if selected for a free energy retrofit, 12 months of energy usage data after the installation.

This is legit. We participated. It’s a great way to get a professional — and free — energy audit, without a heavy up-sell. The two auditors were smart, pleasant and efficient. We won’t receive the complete report until the entire survey has been finished — so come on and sign up! — but we learned plenty while they were conducting the audit.
